Kota: 45-year-old man killed in car collision on NH 66

Kota: A 45-year-old man died after being hit by a car while crossing the road near Kota Circle on National Highway 66 on Sunday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Satish Acharya, a resident of Aruru in Brahmavar.

Satish had visited Kota Amrutheshwari Temple and was crossing the highway towards Hadikere when a car travelling from Kundapur towards Mangaluru reportedly hit him.

He sustained injuries in the accident and died while being taken to a private hospital in Koteshwara.

A case has been registered at Kota Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
