Man in Mangaluru held for two-wheeler theft

Mangaluru: A 40-year-old man, identified as Faizal of Kodi in Ullal, was arrested on Tuesday under charge of stealing a two-wheeler in Kodikal within the Urwa Police Station limits in July.
A complaint is learned to have been filed at the Police Station on July 24 that the scooter parked outside a house in Kodikal was stolen. The police team inspected the footage of the CCTV camera nearby and held Faizal. The two-wheeler has also been seized by the police.
More than 40 cases have reportedly been filed against Faizal in several police stations in Karnataka as well as Kerala.
Cases have been registered at the Mangaluru (North) Police Station, Konaje Police Station, Ullal Police Station, Moodbidri Police Station, Bantwal Rural Police Station and Manipal Police Station. Further, police probe has revealed that arrests warrants against Faizal are in place at the above mentioned police stations.
