Udupi: Fire breaks out at fruit shop in Adi Udupi

Udupi: A fire broke out at a fruit shop in Adi Udupi Santhe market on Sunday morning, causing damage worth lakhs of rupees.

According to preliminary information, the fire is suspected to have started due to a short circuit. The fire spread to the fruit boxes and other items kept inside the shop, causing damage.

After receiving information, Fire and Emergency Services personnel reached the spot and brought the fire under control.

No casualties were reported.

Further investigation is underway.
