22-year-old biker charred to death after collision with RTC bus in Karnataka's Mudhol

Bagalkot: A 22-year-old bike rider was burnt alive after his bike collided with an RTC bus on the Soregaon-Mugalkhod route on Sunday.

According to Deccan Herald, the deceased has been identified as Naveen Gorkah, a resident of Mudhol.

According to preliminary information, Naveen was travelling towards Mudhol when his bike collided head-on with a Badami-Ichalkaranji route bus. Following the collision, the bike caught fire, and he was burnt alive.

Police said the fire occurred after fuel leaked from the bike.

Mudhol police have registered a case, and further investigation is underway.
