Raichur: Biker killed on spot, pillion rider seriously injured in KSRTC bus-motorbike collision in Manvi

Raichur: A 40-year-old biker, identified as Ramamurthy Neeramanvi, was killed on the spot in an accident reported from Manvi taluk, where a state transport bus hit his two-wheeler from behind near a petrol bunk on the outskirts of Kapagal village on Sunday.

The pillion rider, Bandenawaz, is learned to have sustained serious injuries in the accident.

The riders were reportedly crossing the road divider on their motorbike when the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus traveling from Manvi towards Raichur collided with their bike.

Manvi Police officers, who registered a case, are investigating.
